Researchers have achieved the impossible, resurrecting the wolf-like Tasmanian thylacine. But is it the same animal of old? The creature’s genome has been altered, creating a hybrid the size of a lion with pack-hunting instincts. Agent Rylan of the Cryptid Investigation Unit is invited to the remote facility to witness their success, and soon discovers a silent partner with ulterior motives. Scarpoint, a private military company, intends to use the hybrid as a covert weapon. To stop Scarpoint, Agents Rylan and Carter must overcome a pack of trained beasts, backed by a ruthless mercenary force. While storm winds drive a plague-riddled ship in their direction, a sadistic guard begins to target women within the camp. The time for retreat is over.
