Sissy White survived a violent, beastly attack while in the woods one night with her friends. The general public didn’t believe her account of the two mangled bodies. The general public called her a murderer and monster. The general public made that tragedy all the worse. Not everyone felt the same way. Sissy White was invited to be the guest of honor at Squatcher-Con 2022, and the night before the event opened, she and the other special guests sat around a campfire getting to know one another and sharing stories. Sissy’s story was emotional and heartbreaking, but it wasn’t the main event. Squatcher-Con host, John Nolan, had a big secret to share, one that would enthrall, amaze, and terrify…one they’d pay dearly for. This year’s event is one they wished they could’ve skipped, but it’s too late and all that’s left is to survive.

The container ship, Chances Taken, has severe engine trouble halfway between North America and China. There’s a mysterious island nearby with remnants of human activity, though all signs of recent life have disappeared. The crew drops the lifeboat to check out the island, only to learn that it is inhabited by huge beasts that have meat eating written into their genetic code. In order to save a kidnapped crewmember and survive against the beasts, the crew must take the offensive and strike, but can anybody simply conquer an island of beasts because they choose to? And are they willing to sacrifice what needs to be sacrificed?

Raphael and Renata Le Page, a brother and sister team, are hired to take a group claiming to be scientists up a remote mountain, where a plane has gone down with close to one billion stolen Euros onboard. Flown beneath radar detection, only a handful of people know of its existence. While the Le Page siblings are just doing the job they have been hired to do, the ruthless criminals are after the cash. The one thing none of them are counting on is that blood-thirsty beasts have roamed these mountains for thousands of years and they’ll ferociously protect their territory, devouring anyone who comes near. Climbing the mountain is tough. Getting down alive is going to be tougher.
