At almost 24 miles in length, the Lake Ponchartrain Causeway in Louisiana is the longest bridge over water in the world. With the southern end connected to the city of New Orleans, 43,000 automobiles cross the bridge every day. One fateful night, something not of this world rises from the dark waters of the lake.
