Thirty years before Dr, Sterling Mead and his wife, Dr. Tonya Mead started the Cenozoic Project to recreate extinct prehistoric mammals in the Yukon Territory; the newlywed couple began their careers at Scientific Institute of Chimera Studies in a remote region of upstate Washington. In the nearby fishing town of Anchor Bay, Police Chief Dan Stone and his officer, Reba Roberts and her K-9 Zeke busily investigate a mysterious string of vicious animal attacks in the area.
