Gus Voigt has been many things. A weapons smuggler, a barroom brawler, and the enforcer for a biker gang. After some bad choices, he finds himself hiding out in South America, scraping by as the captain of a river boat on the Amazon. There, he struggles to make ends meet while trying to take care of his wayward nephew, Jesse. Gus’ fortunes suddenly change when a mysterious Hollywood producer approaches him with a film crew and a map to Paititi, an ancient lost city of gold.
If they can find the mythical city, they’ll win riches beyond their wildest imaginations and Gus and Jesse will get a new lease on life. To get there, they’ll have to survive vicious piranhas, hungry caimans, and an ancient group of Incan warriors who will kill Gus’ entire crew to keep them from discovering Paititi.
